BA in Hispanic studies and BA in Archaeology

After completion of Grammar School in Zagreb, I graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, receiving BA in Spanish language and literature, and archaeology.

For eight years (1994-2001) I worked as a translator and interpreter for Spanish peacekeeping mission contingent in Bosnia and Herzegovina stationed in Međugorje and Mostar. My translation and interpretation activities covered various topics (official ceremonies, news conferences, courses, meetings with local civil, military, religious and legislative authorities, representatives of academic community, non-governmental associations, suppliers, contractors, etc.). I also translated news articles, contracts, reports, offers, tenders, renovation projects, speeches, etc.

I held Spanish language courses for high school students within the Cervantes Programme organized by the Spanish contingent in order to promote Spanish language and culture.

For exceptional performance of the above mentioned tasks, I received the NATO Medal for peacekeeping mission in the former Yugoslavia.

I have specialized in translating legal, economic, journalistic and scientific texts.I have been translating and teaching Spanish for over 20 years.

Apart from Spanish, I speak English, German, French and Portuguese.

From 2002 I live and work in Spain, in the town of Alicante, the capital of the Alicante region in the eastern part of Spain in the centre of the famous tourist region of Costa Blanca.

I am a member of Alicante Women Entrepreneurs Forum, a group of entrepreneurs who have associated themselves in order to create a synergy and offer mutual support.

At the beginning of 2011 I finished a Master in Foreign Trade.
